My Story
I'm Julio, an immigrant from the Dominican Republic who later became a U.S. citizen.
As an immigrant, I experienced how confusing government systems and civic information can be when you are new to a country. Finding reliable information about work permits, identification documents, voting, and public services often requires navigating many different websites and resources.
This experience inspired me to create Civic Access Hub as a simple starting point where immigrants and first-generation families can quickly find trusted civic resources in one place.
Mission
The mission of Civic Access Hub is to simplify access to important civic information for immigrants, newcomers, and first-generation families.
By organizing trusted government resources in a clear and accessible format, the site helps people better understand civic systems and community support services.
Why This Project Matters
Access to clear civic information helps people participate more fully in their communities.
When immigrants understand their rights, opportunities, and available services, they are better equipped to build stable and successful lives.
